SEO Frequently Asked Questions

QUESTION: Posted on 4/22/2005 4:43:26 PM
I have heard from others that it is unwise to use automated reporting software can you tell me if this is true?

When it comes to using automated reporting software to check your keyword rankings, it is always best to double check each search engine’s “terms of use” policy first.  Failure to do so could result in your IP address being blocked and your site being dropped, because some engines do not allow automated queries.

Although there are various programs available for automated reporting, not all of them adhere to the different “terms of use” policies.  As a result, it may be worthwhile to have your site looked after by a reputable SEO firm.  This will not only ensure that your rankings are being carefully monitored, but also that your site is “search engine friendly.”
