Error Page – An error page is a page stating an error message as a result of following a Hyperlilnk. A common error page is the “File Not Found” or “404” page.

Flash – Developed by MacroMedia Corp. Flash animation is a vector-based technolagy that allows a web designer to embed interactive multimedia into web pages. The advantage of Flash is that the files are extremely small allowing Flash intros, games, and animating navigation.  An appropriate Flash plug-in does need to be installed on the users computer in order to view the Flash file.

Flash Intro or Flash Page – A short animation that users are forced to endure before gaining access to the home page of a website.  Since Flash is an animated graphic there is typically no textual content, therefore nothing a search engine spider can read. As a result a site with a Flash intro will usually receive poorer ranking.

Forums – Also known as discussion forums or public message centers. Users are able to post messages in different forums.  Forum posting is public and available to be viewed by any member that has access to the forum.  Forums are threaded, meaning that each post is connected and can be followed to the previous posts so a new viewer would be able to view all the posts in a particular discussion ‘Thread’.

A supported module. Public Message Centers. Users can post messages in different forums, either to the group at large or to certain users. However, all postings can be seen by anyone else who has access to that forum, so save sensitive materials for private email. Forums are also threaded, which means a reply to a particular posting becomes part of the "thread" of that posting that can be followed to provide a cohesive progression through a particular topic.

Frames – Two or more separate HTML documents may be combined within a single web browser screen. By using multiple windows (or sub windows) web pages may be generated with many interacting documents. Unfortunately, many search engines experience problems with framed web sites and as a result may not be indexed correctly. Search engines can only read text and will often index only the part of a framed site within the "noframes" section. It is important to make sure this section has the most relevant text specifically for indexing purposes. If your site uses frames, consider creating a page that has the same content but is not separated into frames. This page can be submitted to the search engines for indexing.

Fresh – A term used to refer to home pages that are frequently changed and updated. When GoogleBot determines a webpage is constantly being changed it wil increase its visits to that page for reindexing.

FTP – File Transfer Protocol is used to upload and download files to domain servers.

Google – Currently the largest and most popular search engine. Visit: Google.

Google Bombing – Also referred to as a Google wash, it is an attempt by a group of sites to increase the search engine rankings of a particular website by linking to it. This takes advantage of the Google’s algorithm which places a great deal of importance on a websites inbound links.

Google Everflux – Also known as Google Flux, this is a term used to describe the ever changing activity within Google rankings.  Often a website, particularly with newly added webpages can obtain high rankings quickly then soon afterwards vanish entirely.

GoogleBot – Spider used by Google to index webpages.

Although email marketing is an important type of personalized marketing but pay per click always generate more revenue. Moreover, if you have a good web design and your are outsourcing good web hosting services, then after proper search engine optimization you can end up with a perfect website.
